Bedlingtons @ Campsall Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not repaired it I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Many thanks,

Geocache Description:

The pathway loops around the lake at Campsall Park. Hidden a few meters off path, at the foot of the largest tree around.
There are pedestrian entrances all around the park, and a carpark not far from the leisure centre on Church Field Road.
Leave a few minutes as the cache contains a Field Puzzle to get into the log (no tools, stone bashing, or tantrums required!)

If walking from the carpark, follow the path through the woodland dead ahead, this leads all the way around the lake, and either to the playingfields or the pub.

On the path there is a small arched tree, this points directly at the hiding place.

It will be easier to spot the location in the leaf-litter before spring.

There is space in the tub for small trackables.
