QRA? er en af mange Q-koder som bruges af radioamatører. Den betyder: Hvad er navnet på Deres station? QRA? is one of many Q-codes used by radioamateurs. It means: What is the name of your station?
Blandt geocachere er der adskillige som også er radioamatører, mange bruger endog deres kaldesignal som cachernavn. Jeg har selv OZ1CJX, OZ9G og 5Q5RP. Jeg tænkte at det kunne være sjovt at se hvor mange kaldesignaler der kunne samles her, så hvis du har et eller flere vil jeg opfordre dig til at skrive det i loggen. Hvis ikke er du selvfølgelig meget velkommen alligevel! Cachen er placeret ved Hvidovre Vandtårn som bl.a. rummer en relæstation, en såkaldt repeater. Dens funktion er at forøge rækkevidden for primært mobile og portable amatørradioer, men samtidig fungerer frekvensen som en slags mødested. Among geocachers are several radio amateurs, many are even using their callsign as geocachername. I use the callsigns OZ1CJX, OZ9G and 5Q5RP. My thought was that it could be fun to see how many callsigns that could be collected among finders of this cache. So if you have one or more, I encourage you to put it in your log. If not, you are of course very welcome all the same! The cache is placed at the watertower in Hvidovre which among other thing is the base of the Hvidovre repeater. It is a relaystation with the purpose of increasing the coverage for primarily mobile and portable amateur radio stations, but the frequency is also used as a kind of meeting place.
