Welcome to Trinity Cemetery. This cemetery is cared for by Scott Township. This cemetery is also known as Roush Cemetery.
In 1838 Peter and Catherine Miller sold a ½ acre to the school district for a burying ground. They had purchased the land in 1835 from Phillip Roush. Sometime in the late 1800’s - early 1900’s, the cemetery was turned over to the township trustees.
One of the oldest stones in the cemetery is that of Marion Roush dated 1838.
You are looking for a camo'd preform container. Please rehide exactly as hidden to preserve the cache location.
The SQ in the cache name above signifies Spirit Quest, a project by the Northwest Ohio Geocachers to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. This cache is part of that series created by NWOGEO members to highlight cemeteries in the area. Please be respectful of the area, and observe the posted hours, which are sunrise to sunset.
