At Round Hill Park in Elizabeth township in the southeast corner of
the county there is a modern working farm that supplements the park
itself. The exhibit farm is open every day of the year and affords
tens of thousands of school students on field trips, and daily
visitors, an interpretive program that revolves around the farm,
and the water and food cycles of life. The 17 picnic groves reflect
the life of a farm with names like Alfalfa, Timothy, Wagon Wheel
and Quiet Acres. Bring the family and some "Duck Food"! Take some
time to tour the farm, there is no charge to tour the grounds on
your own.
Here is
a map to get to the farm.
You will enjoy this park. There are plenty of picnic tables and
playgrounds. Cachers should start at the top of the hill in the
park. Some bushwacking required depending on the route you take.
The cache is in a fairly large plastic container. The hints below
are very specific, and should only be used if you are having
trouble. Please take a little time and do a first class camo job
when replacing the cache.
