The co-ordinates given are for the starting place and not the final destination. Both stages involve finding a Micro cache with the co-ordinates, taking you to the final. Parking is available at all locations or it could be done as a short walk. (about 1 mile as a round trip. Final part not suitable for wheelchairs and prams. Final is on the car park side of the woods
RAF Mousehold Heath was situated between Salhouse Road and Plumstead Road, Sprowston. It was originally the Cavalry Training ground then became The Royal Flying Corps Mousehold Heath Aerodrome. During the First World War, Boulton & Paul started manufacturing aeroplanes in Norwich in 1915, flying them from Mousehold Heath Aerodrome before it became RAF Mousehold Heath in April 1918. In the inter-war years development continued on some of the permanent RAF stations including Mousehold Heath. Boulton & Paul continued to use the site and in 1927 The Norwich & Norfolk Aero Club was formed at the airfield. In 1933 RAF Mousehold Heath became the first Norwich Airport, eventually moving to RAF Horsham St Faith, where it remains today as Norwich International Airport. During the Second World War the airfield fell into disuse and was mostly redeveloped for housing (Now the Heartsease estate). Several original buildings remain in industrial use, including hangars and other buildings on the Salhouse Industrial Estate. Part of the flying field still survives as the playing field for the Open Academy, formerly Heartsease high School.

Both Stages involve finding a physical micro cache that contain the co-ordinates to the final.
