Rubbermaid box has replaced the stolen ammo box cache placed on Conservation Trust land with nice views of Hussey Sound and Long Island. The coordinates have shifted a few feet. The new coordinates are: N 43 40.147' W 070 11.014'. We didn't have much to put in the cache for its initial loading. There is a logbook, a couple of pencils, a Blue Ridge quarter, and a couple of chicken toys.
We used to use the screen name "Team Chucky Cheese," but after team member geo-dog, Chaz, passed on, we changed our name. TCC had a cache hidden on Morse Mountain in Phippsburg, ME that we removed at the request of the land owner. The original ammo box, some of its contents, and a new log book have been set in a new location on Peaks Island, ME.
We set this cache on Jan 2, 2012, hence the name which is an abbreviation of Happy New Year 2012.
There were a few other geocaches on this island. We hope this one will give cachers another one to seek when they are on "The Rock." As of October 12, 2015, this seems to be the only cache remaining on the island. The original ammo box was stolen. We have replaced it with a Rubbermaid box and moved the location a few feet from where the ammo box was.
