Off Route 114 North. Just north of intersection of 114 (aka County Rd) and Federal Rd. Watch for the small, brown sign "Walkers Farm" underneath the Rt 114 sign; on the right side of the road. Public small-boat launch, fishing pier, crabbing area, and great views
A restored wetland area with 'victory gardens' in a fenced off area. I love to kayak here. Check for sunsets, and enjoy the sunset and moonrise here! Bring bug spray in season. I moved my previous Walker's Farm as flooding destroyed it. I'm hoping this spot, and structure, will hold up. This is a public area with public parking. Just park along the telephone poles as there are no drawn lines. In the summer, the police are generous with the 'closing at dark' rule due to fishermen; not so during the winter.
