Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the 3 mile mineral ridge trail loop. The trailhead starts and ends near the shores of Beauty Bay at the east end of lake Coeur d'Alene. The cache is located at an elevation of roughly 2,750 feet, about 600 feet above lake Coeur d'Alene.

The cache is contained within a green ammo box with a Geocaching.com sticker on the side. It is only about 15-20 feet off of the main trail.

As was the case when I hid the cache, you will probably lose your satellite signal as soon as you start hiking due to heavy tree cover. It's all good though, because you will get it back as soon as your up on the ridge, where you'll need to be to find the cache.
