The suggested route follows a trail with signs labeling it "horse trail." Great views of the Rosa Dam which isn't visible from the canyon highway.

- To approach the cache, I follow Bufalo Rd. east from Gibson Rd. (straight when N. Wenas Rd. turns at Fire Station 4). Follow game fence past obvious parking area w/gate & big sign, and finally enter another gate past birdhouse #3, continue to trailhead @ N 46, 42.762/W 120, 28.542. Old signs are scattered on the ground. The trail heads north from the road. I needed binoculars to see a herd of ten deer and the trio of large bighorn sheep when I placed the cache. I saw more deer and a large group (about 20) of young bighorns near cache site.
