this2shalpas (me), GTE James, MojaveDiva, and Boondocks1963 completed the Route 66 800 (plus the extras) on New Year's Day, 2012. In honor of this, we placed a cache that is designed to fit in with the rest of Route 66. Please treat it as a part of the series.
Why "The Great Meat Ball", you ask? We signed the logs as TGMB and had the hardest time remembering the order of the letters until Boondocks1963 made up a phrase to help us along. It worked. We repeated that phrase hundreds of times because when you get so tired you cannot remember much.
Ms_Jules has agreed to maintain this cache for us if necessary.
