This is a short hike along a trail that is part of the University of Maine Forest system. This will be a great snowshoe trek in the winter.
This cache is farther down the trail from The Last Centurion cache. I had to bushwhack a little around a tree blowdown and water spot (same location). I went to the left going in and to the right coming out. Placing this at the start of winter, I envision this as a nice little snowshoe hike. Cache is next to a shallow pond created by a beaver (I suspect - due to all the knawed trees). The ground was firm and the location easy to get to when I placed this cache. I have no idea what it is like in the spring. Happy hunting and enjoy the outdoors! Update: I replaced this cache on 9/12/2016 and the area has grown in quite a bit but still doable.
