.10, S. of P.E.V. Traditional Cache
MT Pool: This is a very old cache placement hidden when I lived in the area. It has run its course so I am getting rid of it.

I've been wanting to find a place to hide a cache near this area since I learned of it a couple of years ago. I noticed this natural area at the intersection of Rte. 79 and Turner St. in Lakeville on the way out of town last weekend. So with cache and G.P.S. in hand I went there today in search of a good hiding spot. The area has what looks like a maintained narrow dirt road through it and there is lots of piled up dead wood lying around as if it is maintained. The pond side of the dirt road is loaded with briers though. If you follow the road to it's end you will come to what looks like a small swimming or fishing hole. The only good hiding area I cold find that wasn't in full view of the road was on the pond side of the road. there are briers here but not to bad if you stop high you can walk over them. The hide is about eight feet off the dirt road.
Happy Caching,
M.T.
PS Is that banjo music I hear?
