On walkway to Rob Roy glacier lookout.
Getting here ain't the easiest. The road from Glendhu Bay to Raspberry Flat is OK for 4WD but a bit of a test for 2WD suspensions - but at the end car park, there were plenty of 2WD cars - so seems OK when weather good. So the road is 4 star difficulty and after rain - definitely a 4WD as there are fords to go over as well.
Once you get to the end, park the car and head off on a half hour walk to the cache site or a 90 minute walk to the glacier lookout itself - after the cache site, the track can get a bit steep but not too bad - saw kids of 8/9 years old climbing it OK.
Off track and opposite the cache site, there is a convenient bench to sign log and take in the view. A picnic would be good fun here as you watch the passing muggles. Carry on to the Rob Roy glacier, where you will be amply rewarded for your efforts.
Cache is a 220ml sistema and sorry - NO PEN, lost it somehow in my truck and wasn't going to dash back for it!
Look for a rock with a tree on top of it, about 3 metres from the track (in the elbow)
