This area is near where my Dad grew up. You just passed it. I can remember traveling across the old wooden bridge as a child.
Parking coordinates: N37 33.880 W092 01.240 to allow you to turn around at the dead end road. It's a county road, but permission has been given by the local land owner as well.
The last picture we can find of the old bridge from the water was in June 1971.
The difficulty and terrain may vary at different times of the year.
