Geocache Description:

The cache is a sandwich size lock and lock hidden near a trail in Cedar Valley CA.  Bring the kids, bring the dogs and enjoy the trails!

Cedar Valley Conservation Area was sold to the City of Oshawa by the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority in 2004 and is designated parkland for the city.  It has 101 acres (41 hectares) and the Oshawa creek runs through it.  There is a mix of cedar and hardwood forest with many trails to follow.  It looks like it would be a great place for bikes and snowshoes too.

The park is open from 6 AM to 6 PM November 1-March 31 and 6 AM-10 PM April 1-October 31.

I am placing this cache to coincide with the Kawartha Cachers January Breakfast.  Please do not search for this cache before January 7th @ 6 AM!  Thanks
