You probably have to be over 30 to know why we named this site Rabbit Ears.
You can drive to within 20 feet of this cache with any good SUV or better if the road is dry. Any vehicle with wheels should get you to within just over one-half mile. The road in is a graded mountain road for about 6 miles. The last section is steep and rocky and requires high clearance and maybe 4-wheel drive if you don’t have good rock grabber tires.

Take the old highway through Santa Clara, turn left at the Gunlock intersection and head up Utah hill toward Nevada. Turn right onto the dirt road at (N 37 6.6900 W 113 49.3260) about 7 miles from the Gunlock turn. If you are dragging your ATV unload about one half mile off the oil at (N 37 6.7820 W 113 50.0150). If you don’t have high clearance and good traction then stop at (N 37 9.2330 W 113 52.3820), it gets a little nasty just beyond this point. Not a bad walk however.
