The Gators are pleased to announce that our 1st Spring Fling Chomp Fest went so well last year that we have been asked to sponsor the event again. However, we did learn a couple of valuable lessons last year so we promise to have a quicker way to log in the participating dishes and a much quicker way to tally the winners!!
You may bring as many dishes as you feel up to making. Please bring generous amounts so everyone will get the opportunity to sample your specialties. We'll vote on our favorite dishes and prizes will be awarded to the top 4 favorites of the night. Prizes have been purchased & donated and will be announced as we announce the winners! As dishes are emptied, PLEASE LEAVE THEM IN PLACE. Do not remove serving dishes until we begin our clean up. Even though some dishes may be empty, we want them to have a fair chance to be voted on. It may be empty, but the dish will remind the voters what was there. We will attach a number to each dish and all voting will be done by number only, however, if the owner would like to place a description of their dish on the container, that is perfectly acceptable to us. It might even help others to remember what they sampled.
Just the same as last year, everyone is invited to share this meal with us whether you have time to participate in cooking or not...this is all about camaraderie and FUN!! Plates, Napkins and Plastic Flatware provided by Team GatorOKC. Please bring your own beverages.
