History House Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

HighCountryAdmin: I am archiving this defunct geocache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair or replace the cache sometime in the future, please contact me via my profile, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, I will be happy to unarchive it.

Thank you,

Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in honor of New Mexico's centennial of statehood on January 6, 2012.

This cache is in plain sight (unless someone covers it up). You could walk by and grab it without stopping or missing a step if it is how it was placed. You may have some trouble getting your GZ to match as the building throws the GPS off. You should not have to dig thru rocks. This cache is supposed to be in plain view. Please do not cover it up with rocks when you return it to its hiding place.

The Carlsbad Museum and Art Center was founded in 1931 and is the state's oldest municipal museum. It is open Monday through Saturday, 10 to 5. Best of all, admission is free.
