Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the side of a two-lane frontage road. The area is basically flat, with some scattered brush and weeds. The altitude is approx. 5200 ft. This cache has been listed as "NOT FOR KIDS." due to the proximity to a highway with a lot of oil field truck activity. The cache has also been listed as "SEASONAL", as the snow plows may make parking unavailable during snowy months.

This cache is within walking distance of your vehicle, less than 50 yards. There is a wide spot near the cache to pull off the frontage road. In the event of a snow fall, the snow plows may block the parking area, in which case you should save this cache for another time. This two lane road has a lot of oil field truck activity. The cache has several Sudoku game sheets inside and a log book. Take a game sheet if you like. Each sheet has two games, one on front and one on the back. Some sheets have a solution to one of the games attached. Some sheets have no solution. There are EASY, MEDIUM, and HARD game sheets. When you log this find, please include the game sheet number you took, so I can keep track of the cache contents.
If you are heading West, you will need to take Exit 87, which is the "West Rifle" exit. At the stop sign, turn left, go under I-70 overpass and follow the frontage road to the cache. You will need to travel 4+ miles. Once you have found the cache you can continue on this road for 2+ more miles to access I-70 again. If you are heading East, take Exit 81, which is the "Rulison" exit. At the first stop sign turn right. At the second stop sign turn left to access the frontage road. It is approximately 2+ miles to the cache. Once you have found this cache you can continue on this road for approximately 4+ miles to access I-70 again. Do us all a favor and DON'T Sudoku and drive. Wait until you reach a rest area, motel, or your final destination. You will need to bring your own pen/pencil.
