Curious folks from all across the country frequently stop outside the gates of this private residence to admire the landscape, buildings, and unique decor.
Don't worry about coming during busy daylight hours. A few more people nonchalantly looking and pointing will not appear unusual to anyone. If, while you're here, you happen to see the geocache-friendly owners, feel free to say "Hi!" or ask them questions about their efforts to preserve, recycle, and repurpose pieces of Utah County history. Nearly every pebble and stick on their property has a story. For more detailed descriptions and photographs of their place, Google "Almosta Ranch: Before & After." We recommend that you do not come after dark for you will probably be barked at, or spotted by night-owl muggles, hidden cameras, or questioned by those fearless souls who cruise the busy street in their shiny black and white cars all day and night and keep such a close eye on everything around here. Also, please note that although there is plenty of space to park, this cache is located on a very busy road, so keep a close eye on your children and pets. Note: Unfortunately, we've recently seen someone drive up and take dropped off TB's a few times, but not register that they have them. We'd suggest that you record that you dropped them off, but not mention it in your log post in case the one who's collecting the TB's is the same one who's "watching" this cache online. Also, when the weather starts to warm up, this easy cache is sometimes stolen. We try to replace it as soon as the theft is discovered. Thanks for your patience.
