Geocache Description:


Not far off the trail. Log only, BYOP There is also a creek that runs along to the north of #2, #3 and #4. You DO NOT have to cross or go near the creek. Looks like a pretty steep bank too so be careful with small children.

ATU-Ozark is aware of all of the caches along this trail.

This is a one-half mile walking trail built around the Arkansas Tech University – Ozark Campus. The trail is called the “SGL- The Carbon Company Trail”. This trail was completed in October 2011. It is the first project funded by the college’s first private fundraising campaign.

The trail also features a 9-hole disc golf course. Discs may be checked out at the library inside the Alvin F. Vest Student Union.

The trail and disc golf course (as well as disc checkout) are available to the public. The caches, trail and disc golf course are available everyday. However, discs can only be checked out during library hours when campus is open. M-F 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Enjoy!
