This is a very simple multi and is probably quicker than many a traditional cache.
A quick park and grab multi near an opencast mine - Park Wall North.
By quick i mean quick , shouldn't take much more than 5-10 mins!
This multi-cache is fairly straight forward and you do not need to move your car from the lay-by to find it, though you may have to!
The coordinates given here are just for the lay-by, not the first part of the cache. The first part is a physical object (there is no cache container) so when in the lay-by you have one simple task........to find the WC! When you find the WC write down the two numbers underneath.
W=? C=??
When you have these work out the coordinates below to find the cache itself!
N : 54 44.2(W+C - 5)
W : 001 47.W66
A surprise is the coal from the opencast mine here is not travelling too far by road.
High quality Durham coking coal is being moved via a heritage railway as UK coal company takes to the rails to meet demand from manufacturers.
Up to 150,000 tonnes per annum of high quality coking coal from Park Wall North is shipped to the market over the next three years via Wolsingham, a new freight terminal constructed on the preserved Weardale Railway. The railway, 75% owned by an american railway company hopes to use freight to finance improved community passenger services.
Good luck and remember the Lay-by and road can be very busy.
