No Park Nano Traditional Cache

Rayswrld: This was my second cache published, back in 2012. After two recent DNFs I came by to check on it during today's maintenance run. Construction has eliminated GZ. I have no idea why they are redoing this waterfront walkway. It was concrete with railings the whole length and the last time I walked it there was nothing wrong with it. I'll have to wait and see what they do with it before I criticize it more.

I'll probably leave this area for some other cacher to place one after construction is complete.

Geocache Description:


Welcome to the Cliffwood Beach sea wall walkway. This area looks like a small park but doesn't have a name. It has a flag pole and only a few parking spaces, but no benches or plaques. The concrete walk was built on a sea wall that was constructed by the Army Corps of Engineers after Hurricane Donna destroyed the boardwalk and amusements in 1960. The wall was constructed to prevent further erosion in future storms. In 2007 the Aberdeen Township council decided to revitalize the Raritan Bay shore area to attract more people to the area. So far all that has been done is the walk on the sea wall and many residents doubt whether there will be any further development.

This cache is a park and grab. You are looking for a nano so bring your own writing implement. The difficulty is high on this because in the warmer weather there is high muggle activity, including nearby houses. Also there are only four parking spaces, two of which are handicapped. Stealth will be required. In colder months the area is virtually deserted.
