These have got to
be the worst stoplights in Norfolk. They've been like this for
years. Sometimes only one side turns green even though there's cars
on the other side. Then it'll give both sides on the other street
the green. We figured out you have to be in the left lane if you're
coming south on Riverside for the light to turn green for you. We
don't know any other tricks...rather than pushing the walk button
or turning right. Oh ya, and sometimes, if we've waited long
enough, we go through the red...as long as it's clear both
ways.
Anyway, the cache
is a DNA tube. It should be wheelchair accessible, but you might
have to reach if you are in a wheelchair. You don't need to leave
the sidewalk. This intersection is very busy, so be
careful and try to use stealth!
