Geocache Description:

A cache in honour of a local pioneer at the Kerry Bridge on the Albert River.

Eclipse tin cache placed near a lonely but well-kept roadside grave. I was driving through this beautiful country when I had to stop and see who was commemorated here. Later at the Catholic church in Kerry I found more graves with the same family name. So much history, and known only to a few.

Take a moment to pay your respects. You can pull off the road to park and wait for a suitable break in traffic when you can grab the cache. Continue along the road to other caches in the area.
