Another geocache in a popular area for running the dog!
Further away than the last, it may appear on the map that you can reach this geocache easily from Pit Road, please do not attempt this! The road directly to the road is actually on private property! And the other closest entrance is in fact the road to the rifle range - so please stay away from there also! Please note that we as geocachers do not have permission to use the private road, or the rifle range access road. Please stick to the normal access points for Fosbender Park. Come back from there closer to the Beach Road and there is another entrance that has a bar across it. You may enter there, but you may not find it the closest route, as you have to circle around the rifle range.
DO NOT CROSS OVER FENCES IN THIS AREA. There are fences throughout the forest, but in particular they are surrounding the rifle range also. If you decide not to use the tracks, please follow a fence to a corner. All tracks will keep you out of range of the range - so to speak.
Now with that warning out of the way, this is another in the series taking you around the outer reaches of the Fosbender Park Sled Dog tracks. This is of course a dog friendly area. Please give way to anyone who is out sledding.
It should take you 20 mins at least from any entrance to get to the cache. I hope you enjoy the run!
Cache is small but is visible at some distance - if you know what you're looking for. Please do not remove it from it's hide, merely unscrew the top! Make sure the next cacher has just as much fun as you finding it! It contains a log book, pencil and sharpener.
