A companion and bonus cache to Upper Cibolo II to help make your drive worthwhile, as if this beauty is not enough!
Looks like these slabs were pushed up here when the road was built. They have been here a long time. If you look carefully over and under, these jutting rocks look like great places for little critters and reptiles to make homes. So, don't stick your head or hands in there! You won't find the cache that way and may get more than you bargained for. All kinds of small mammals, reptiles, insects, and herps like rocky dens: bobcats, gray foxes, ringtails, scorpions, rattlesnakes, you get the idea. I've been coming to this exact spot for 15 years and haven't seen an aggressive critter yet, but there's always a first time.
Bring your camera, have fun, and enjoy the peace and quiet.
• This road is five miles long and you need to drive slowly.
• Please pay careful attention and don’t trample any plants. Some are rare and a joy to see.
• Be sure to look before reaching – A good place for a container is also a good place for a critter and/or a thorny plant.
• This is the revived final of the late original The Upper Cibolo.
