Geocache Description:

From Holbrook take AZ 77 south and turn right onto AZ 377. Drive approximately one mile. Park in the turn-out on the north side before the tracks.

Founded as a shortline to connect timber industry in McNary to paper mill in Snowflake and connect to railroad in Holbrook. Began in 1917. Passenger service was available until the 1950s. In 1982 the line to McNary was removed when the mill shut down. The remaining track operates from Holbrook to Catalyst Paper near Snowflake. Today it is well-known among railroad enthusiasts for its rare all-Alco engine roster.
