HOMAGE TO THE JAM

Yes at last a series of caches in homage to Jam – Strawberries, Blackcurrant, Apricot STOP!!! Homage to THE Jam. The group of the 70’s and 80’s. 18 Consecutive top 40 singles 1977 – 1982. 4 number one hits. Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton, Rick Buckler and Steve Brookes – Steve who? I here you asking. He left The Jam before they hit the big time.
Great songs like Shopping, Mr Clean, Private Hell Noooo!! Or Going Underground, David Watts, Start etc.

This is a series of caches with links to these songs – ok with tenuous links, sorry very tenuous links to the songs and albums of The Jam.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Get out your old vinyl or new C.D’s

BURNING SKY

The story is told of the great fire on the Bann and of the hero 'Billy Hunt' (Jam Song). It is a well known story - nay folklore in the mind of dad of crew!

In 1905 4 Big Barges moored up at this spot when a fire broke out on the only empty one there. Who will save the three full Barges? Up steps a local lad who became the hero his name 'Billy Hunt'. This local hero puts out the fire and saveS the day.

YOUR PART IN THIS FOLKLORE IN THE MIND OF DAD OF THE CREW IS TO FIND HIM AND THANK HIM.

CONGRATULATIONS to Legodude1, Big Blue Box, The Whirlwind and Driver and Security on FTF.
