You can access to good fishing spot easily. If you need some fishing tackles, you will be able to get one, immediately. The cache container is small square plastic case. Please bring you pen.
Shiraoi is the town with a population of about two thousand, and has an area of 425.75 square kilometer. There are many famous local products, such as Shiraoi beef (Wagyu), salted roes of Pacific cod, Shiitake mushroom, and eggs. You can see old styled dance of Ainu (earlier settlers of Hokkaido) at Ainu museum in Shiraoi. The dance was registered by UNESCO as world cultural heritage (intangibles). Also, you can see many kinds of wild birds, (67 species are confirmed in this area) and nine species of mammals, such as fox, Yezo sika deer, and Yezo squirrel.

白老町の人口はおよそ2万人、面積は425.75平方kmです。産品としては黒毛和牛、たらこ、椎茸、たまごなどが有名です。アイヌ古式舞踏がユネスコ無形文化遺産に登録されアイヌ民族博物館でみることができます。自然の豊かな白老町ではアカゲラ、カッコウなど67種類の野鳥やエゾシカ、エゾリス、キタキツネなど9種類の哺乳類が確認されています。
