Ollie's Follies: Went to check out the status of this cache and alas, the host tree has indeed been cut down. While I was actually able to locate the exact place where the cache had been hidden, the cache itself was gone and there didn't seem to be any point in replacing it as hiding it would have been nearly impossible.
Many thanks to all who came out to enjoy the park and look for my very first hide. It is a sad day to have to archive my firstborn.
