Geocache Description:

Metal container.

I read a story a few years ago about some people who were attacked by a mountain lion. The article said they fought it off with a log and a pen. The first thing I though of was geocachers. I hid this cache a year ago. At that time there had been a sighting of Florida Panther tracks in this neck of the woods. I've never heard of an attack on a human by a Florida panther but you never know. They are pretty elusive. It would sure be a treat to see one.

I hid a cache by this name in Oviedo when I first heard the story of the log and a pen. It was bulldozed a short time after publishing.

This cache is in the Charles H Bronson (CHB) by only a foot or so. You can reach it from the CHB or the Chuluota Wilderness without crossing any fences. If you are in the CHB make sure you pay the entrance fee. They have been handing out tickets to people who don't pay. Park at Chuluota Wilderness. DO NOT park at the end of Curryville Rd. The neighbors will call the authorities.

There is hunting in the CHB so be sure to check hunt schedules. Hunter orange shirt or vest is recommended during hunts.

Placed with permission.
