Celebrating Canada's 150th birthday, cache by cache, year by year.
9 - 14 April is the battle of Vimy Ridge.
1 July, Canada celebrates its 50th Dominion Day.
5 December, a collision in the Halifax harbour kills 1900 people and injures 9000. The largest ever man-made explosion pre-Hiroshima atomic bomb. I highly recommend going to the museum in Canadian Forces Base Halifax and looking at artifacts and reading the history. I was especially intrigued by the struggles and valour of some Navy divers that were diving at the time.
