DATE: Saturday Feb 11th
PLACE: Gazebo off the Marilla Springs Trail
TIME: 12:00 - 2:00


EVENT CACHES - ARCTIC ANIMALS THAT TURN WHITE FOR WINTER
We will place some temporary caches along the Marilla Bridges and Marilla Springs Trails.
There will be a game card to fill out based on each cache. Everyone returning their correctly filled in game card by the end of the event will receive a special prize.








PERMANENT CACHES
Here is a bookmark of the caches along the Marilla Bridges, Marilla Springs, White Pines, Hidden Valley, and Marilla Rocks Trails. Kindly let me know if I have missed any caches on or near these trails.


WINTER SURPRISE
If you plan to participate in WINTER SURPRISE, you will need a bison tube or micro and an ammo can.
AMMO CAN - Fill your ammo can with QUALITY swag. Then place it (temporary cache) on one of the following trails: Marilla Bridges, Marilla Springs, White Pines, Hidden Valley.
Kindly keep terrain ratings an average of 1.5 to allow accessibility for all caching abilities.
BISON TUBE / MICRO - Put the coordinates of your cache in the bison tube. Also include a contact number should the recipient of your cache need to call you for help.
EXCHANGE - At 12:15 all bison tubes will be put in a basket. Each cacher who has participated with a bison tube and ammo can, will choose a bison tube from the basket. Both bison tube and ammo can may then be used to place permanent caches if desired.
LOGGING - If you log event caches, log this one as WINTER SURPRISE. You are welcome to share the location/contents of your cache so all can share the adventure.


MARILLA WINTER TREK
From 12:00 - 4:00, the Tuna Valley Trail Association will be hosting a variety of winter activities.
- Cross Country Ski, Snowshoe, Ice Skate, Ice Fish, Walk the Marilla Trails
- Shuttles to the top of Marilla Springs Trail
- Guided snowshoe hikes to the White Pines
- Lessons in Snowshoeing and Cross Country Skiing
- Ski the Hidden Valley Loop
- Walk the Bridges Trail
- Free Refreshments Provided by the TVTA
- Warm Up By the Fire
