Geocache Description:

This geocache is no longer available, but the cache page is still available for the puzzle. To solve the Puzzle Caching Series Final, you need the clues from each of the other Puzzle Caching Series caches. Once you solve this puzzle, test your solution using the GeoCheck tool at the bottom of the page. If your solution is correct, you will see the same clue that would have been in the physical cache.

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES!

This cache is only available between 6:00am and 11:00pm

This cache is part of the Puzzle Caching Series. It was designed to help geocachers practice their puzzle solving skills on different types of puzzles that are commonly used on puzzle caches. Inspiration for this series came from Puzzle Solving 101 Series by epeterso2. If you really want some good puzzle solving tips and practice, I highly recommend that you check out The Puzzle Solving 101 series.

This series includes 8 caches total. You must collect clues from the first 7 caches, then use those clues to solve a puzzle and find the coordinates for the final. All containers are Lock-n-Lock or similar containers which have been camouflaged, except for the final which is an ammo can. A clue is attached to the lid of each cache that you will need for the final cache in the series. The caches are hidden all over Pierce County and can be done with a minimum of 40 miles of driving. The first 7 caches can be done in any order.

This puzzle is a hidden information cache. For tips on solving hidden information puzzles, see Puzzle Solving 101 - Lesson 2: Tactics. For general puzzle solving tips see Puzzle Solving 101 - Lesson 1: Strategy. Both of these cache pages have useful tips and tools for solving puzzle caches similar to this one.

I also want to thank gunguy&fam for beta testing each of the puzzles!

Now... for some fun! Below is a puzzle that, when solved, will reveal the coordinates for a Lock-n-Lock, or similar container, which has been camouflaged to match its surroundings. There is a clue attached to the lid of the container that you will need to find the final cache in the series. Good luck and happy caching!

Nice try, keep looking.
