This is no 8 on my Loch Trool circuit. Close to Gairland Burn where meets the cycle track. Park at Bruce's Stone car park. This is a small plstic container with a notepad and pen. It is located close to the Gairland Burn where it meets the cycle track. This route is part of the Loch Trool circuit - a beautiful walk around Loch Trool of approximately 5-6 miles. The walk can be undertaken in all seasons and takes 2-3 hours. The Forestry Commission are currently working on the route on the other side of the loch (Jan 2012) but hope to have this completed this spring. You can still access the cache from Bruce's Stone despite these works. The Gairland Burn is an attractive burn which is fed from Loch Valley and there are fantastic cascades when there has been recent rain. Congratulations to JF20938 for FTF
