Geocache Description:

Located in the Lybrook Wilderness area. Trail head located on the Lyebrook Access road off East Manchester Road. About a 2 mile hike with about 1,000 feet in elevation gain.

In August of 2011 Tropical Storm Irene dumped an enormous amount of rain throughout much of Vermont. Causing 100's of millions of dollars in property damage and road destruction. The near by mudslide is testimony to her power and fury. Stay on the main trail past the clearly marked Lye Brook Falls intersection for about 4 tenths of a mile. Cache located about 50 feet off the trail, no need to bushwack. You are looking for an ammo can. There is a Friendly FTF prize. The top of the slide is located about 200' west of the cache. BE CAREFULL!
