Located between Lakeside & Somers, MT up Spring Creek Road, proceeding to wilderness area approximately 6.3 miles from Hwy. 93. It is a beautiful drive with the cache site overlooking Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountain range.
The Spring Creek Cache is a 5 gallon bucket containing the following original contents:
- Trout panfish spinners
- Stuffed Pond pet
- 3 rubber frogs (assorted sizes)
- fish key chain
- fish stringer
- 7 function Swiss Army knife
- 2 orange fishing plugs
- balsa bobber floats
- book "Beginners Guide to Goldfish"
- ships wheel candle holder
- ships propeller candle holder
- 2 bags of rubber fish
- needle nose pliers
- log book, pen & pencils
- camera
- geocache notice
Start on Hwy 93 to N 48 03.557; W 114 14.587 & turn west up Spring Creek Road. At Cramer Creek Road, turn right and follow the road past the 5 mile marker. Stop and park at N 48 02.814; W 114 18.263. You should see Flathead Lake and the cache site is hidden with a great view at N 48 02.769; W 114 18.281. Happy hunting!
