Short uphill hike (less than a quarter mile) along a stream. 90% of the hike is on an unmarked/rough trail, just follow the stream up the hollow. The last 10% of the hike is boulder scrambling and some light caving (no safety equipment required - just watch your head).
A fun and memorable adventure awaits!
You will need a flashlight and possibly waterproof boots or waders if it's been rainy. You will also need some upper body strength and the ability to climb big overlapping rocks. Oh yea, you must also keep your fear of heights at home. There is no place for that at Satan's Crack!
Terrain is probably a 3 in the summer, and a definite 4 in winter. Mrs2Shrds came along when I hid it, and said it's a 4.
**EDIT-12-20-2015** Some geocachers tried finding this over the summer and said the cache was gone. Checked on it today and replaced it with a large empty plastic screw lid jar in the same spot the original was hidden.
FTF Prize is a good amount of military grade 550 parachute cord!
This is a gem of a place introduced to me by healious, a good friend who I also introduced to caching. He said he has the perfect spot for a good cache, and he wasn't kidding!
Come get it! It's not that bad and totally worth the ~1 Hour of your precious time on this planet!
