This Cache is placed near Castle Hot Springs in the Lake Pleasant area north of Phoenix.
The road to castle hot springs can be driven very carefully by a 2 wheel drive vehicle but I don’t recommend it. Castle Hot Springs used to be a resort for the famous and is located in a very beautiful area near Lake Pleasant. The resort is rumored to have been one of President Teddy Roosevelt’s favorite places to stay. Currently it is in the process of being restored and hopefully will reopen to the public. The resort itself is located about .25 miles N/W of the cache.
