Geocache Description:

This cache hides in a grove of evergreens overlooking the lower Greystone reservoir. It's within a few feet of the new yellow trail, which connects the white trail loop in Mountain Way Park, with Old Dover Rd. in the new Central Park of Morris County (Greystone).

The cache is also now sharing space with the new disk golf course. Be aware of disk throwing muggles!

Greystone has been an interesting story since the late 1800's when it was originally built. Beautiful stone buildings on a majestic property... overcrowded wards where unthinkable things were done to people to "cure" them... abandoned buildings left to rot for years... Today, things are much different. The hospital itself has been moved to the back of the property where an entirely new hospital building was completed in 2008. Much of the rest of the hospital's campus is now owned by the Morris County Park Commission, and is now known as "Central Park of Morris County" making it a fabulous place to hide a geocache!
