Geocache Description:

1st of what I hope will be a series of new hides around the Island for 2012.The cache is a micro "nano" size containing just a log,so bring a pencil or pen.
It is located near a Day Beacon marking the entrance to the Richards Landing marina.
As long as you watch your footing and wear decent shoes the approach shouldn't be too difficult.
For those with confidence in assessing safe ice conditions the cache can be approached more directly in the winter.
