Antheia: As the owner has not responded to my previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please avoid geolitter by removing any remaining traces of your cache or contact a local cacher to do so for you. Geocache Description:

Pickwell Circuit

Pickwell Circuit is a pleasant countryside walk of 4.8 miles which should take upwards of 2 hours to complete. There are 26 caches on the circuit plus 2 others that already exist to collect along the way. Our caches are placed to be found and come along regularly to keep excitements levels high. That said there are a couple of our trickiest hides to date, but some of our most rewarding too!

There is parking in a gateway at 'PC Pickwell Copse', in Pickwell near 'PC Stygate Lane' or in Cold Overton. Although the circuit includes Somerby we don't advise parking at these caches as it's a busy road/junction. In any case, please park considerately. If you start in Cold Overton the only bench on the circuit will be half way around at the 'PC Bench' cache. All stiles had doggy gates or low fences if we remember rightly. The only muddy section was above Stygate Lane, Pickwell (when we placed the cahces in Winter). There are no pubs or shops in Pickwell or Cold Overton. There are pubs in Somerby and a tearoom/restaurant in a garden center in Cold Overton.A wide variety of cache containers have been used, all shapes and sizes included (apologies in advance for the Micro's, but sometimes needs must). Remember... Tweezers are a Cachers friend! (Those and a pen, please carry one). We have tried to keep the tricky hides near the roads for you to return to if needs be. See how thoughtful we are? :-)On this walk you have a good chance of spotting Llamas, rare breed sheep and pigs and even a very talkative Emu who patrols a gate in Somerby. Be sure to say hello! Please take care to replace caches as you found them and to close up lids tightly. We have taken care to choose the locations and wish to see them maintained.Happy Caching... We look forward to your feedback and lots of smilie faces on the logs.
