I was asked why I use the name Blue Meanie.
I said, it's all in the name.
But really it was about having my own account, making it a family account and then lastly having the kids split off into their own accounts before the numbers got big. My original name was "mrmeany" and that derives from my profession and was a nickname given to me by one of my students. We love The Beatles in my house and after watching Yellow Submarine, it was a short jump for the family to agree to Blue Meanie. Plus, it makes for a cool stamp that my friend carved for Letterbox caches. Anyway that's the story of the Blue Meanie.
