This place has a grand view of North Georgia rolling hills but look down for the real treasure--a vein of mica laced with hundreds of garnets. They are not gem-quality, but some are beautifully faceted. A rock-hound's heaven.
Cache, which is a mini camo can, is easy to find--a usual hiding spot--and is placed to bring you to the trench, which shimmers in the sunlight.
First to find gets a handful of garnets.
