Geocache Description:

A quick cache a short walk from the parking space.

This cache is placed at a spot the locals call "little America". There is car parking, some seats and in the summer picnic tables. Great views of the River Torridge when the tide is in. Popular with canoes/kayaks and fishermen. We named the cache because some pleasant person took 5 pairs of shoes that we left on the riverbank whilst we went for a paddle up the river one summers day. I am sure that they were not a cacher. Cache is a well camouflaged small clip top box with logbook but bring your own pencil. There is room for a few small swaps. There is a main road nearby and obviously the river, please keep dogs and small children on a lead!

Have had to replace the cache, even that got taken, what is it with this spot? ;-)
