Bruche is the name of an ancient manor and family that occupied this part of Warrington for more than 300 years until the reign of Queen Elizabeth the first. The Bruche Heath Shopping Parade is situated at the junction of Green Lane and Lambs Lane in the district of Padgate. The parade was probably built in the 1960's to serve the day to day needs of the increasing population. The surrounding residential area was growing in popularity due to its good transport links to the Warrington town centre. Padgate station also provides good rail links to Liverpool and Manchester. Despite the current economic climate, all 10 shops in the parade are still occupied and trading - lets hope that this continues.
