Geocache Description:

Micro cache, bring your own pencil, no room for swaps or trackables!

A micro cache, placed near the Village sign of Bluntisham, the War memorial and opposite the Church and well within earshot of the bells.

The village sign is the work of a local artist and depicts a game of Bandy. The fenland version of Ice Hockey and played, weather permitting on Bury Fen, a short walk from here.

The War memorial is also on this small green, and contains the names of all the local men who lost their lives in both World Wars.

The cache is not situated on either the sign or the memorial and we ask that due respect be paid to both on your visit.

A cache and dash, with plenty of parking available, a nice bench nearby to allow contemplation, suitable for all abilities but cachehounds and cache kids should be supervised at all times as the green borders a very busy road.
