A good old fashioned jaunt in the woods looking for an ammo can (or ammo can sized object...).
A cache placed in traditional style in the woods. This area was supposed to be a housing development, but when the bubble burst the land went back to being wild. Nice natural depression with an old dirt road surrounding it. Lots of small pines and briars. A little bushwhacking may be necessary in summer. Right now you can walk right to it.
Avoid the area during deer season, I walked up on a salt block and corn cobs. There are a lot of deer trails, and some four wheeler tracks. You may run up on some four wheeling muggles. Parking at 34n 25.109 by 80w 05.123 on side of road. It's not a park and grab, you have a 2/3 mile round trip walk, but that's why we started caching, right? Not handicap accessible due to terrain. Do NOT drive back into the property. Park as close to the road as possible.
May be ticks, snakes, and other normal woodsy animals in the warmer months. Daytime only, unless you want curious neighbors opposite the parking coordinates calling the police.
