A quick cache and dash for those travelling between Burbage and Marlborough. The cache is situated just beyond the boundary of Savernake (pronounced Savernack) Forest.
Park in the lay-by, walk to the northern end and follow the signposted bridleway for 200 feet by which time you'll have left the forest and entered a field. This is not a well used track but it is level and should not pose a problem to a determined stroller user. There are great views of Martinsell Hill and glimpses of Easton Clump to the south. This treeless area was once known as Savernake Great Park.
